Marketing Alliance Group a designer and manufacturer of award winning, quality displays for a variety of markets, including retailers in the Health & Beauty Sector is seeking a motivated Sr. Project Manager. As a Sr. Project Manager, you will assist in managing multiple projects from cradle to grave while assuring all stakeholders are up to date on pertinent project details.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews projects and assures information is disseminated to the appropriate personnel to assure orders are released and items needed are purchased.
- Coordinates with outside vendors and internal departments to assure all items are where they need to be when they need to be there.
- Proactively communicates the status of projects and associated tasks with appropriate personnel (Sales, Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Design, Shipping, etc.) to assure products deliver on time and are made to the specifications required of the customer.
- Communicates internally and expedites the resolution of customer problems.
- Reconciles project tracking resolves issues/escalates appropriately (internally and externally).
- Communicates changes and their requirements to client and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Confers with Operations to obtain technical advice and resolve challenges in an efficient manner.
- Initiates and facilitates launch / kick off meetings as needed with appropriate stakeholders (Design, Engineering, Project Management, Estimating, and Production).
- Provides strong customer service and achieves effective client relations.
- Updates information in internal systems in an accurate and timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (business, engineering, etc.) and 3-5 years pertinent experience or equivalent combination. Preferably in a Health and Beauty sector.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to learn how to effectively use databases systems such as ERP’s.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping projects on schedule and budget.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
